Qtum Video

Describe the shot. Get the clip.

Qtum Video puts several of the current video models behind one prompt box. Write a prompt or drop in a still frame, pick a resolution and a length, and render. You pay prepaid credits for the seconds you actually produce — and nothing at all for a render that fails.

What you get

One prompt box, several models, and a price you can work out in advance.

Several models, one prompt box

Switch model without switching tool, account or invoice. Each model keeps its own resolutions, aspect ratios and clip lengths, and the form only offers what the model you picked can actually do.

Text to video, or start from a frame

Write a prompt, or upload a still and let the model animate from it. The models that accept a starting frame are marked in the catalog, with the size and aspect-ratio limits they enforce.

Priced per second, pro-rated

Every model publishes a credit rate per five seconds at each resolution, and a clip costs that rate scaled to the length you chose. No subscription, no seat, no minimum — the price of a clip is a number you can work out before you press render.

A failed render costs nothing

Credits are reserved when the task is created and returned in full if the render fails, automatically. Every clip stays in your library with the exact prompt and settings that produced it, so a near miss is one edit away from another take.

How it works

Four steps from an account to a finished clip.

  1. 01

A Qtum wallet, a Google account or an email code. One account covers Qtum Video and everything else on qtum.ai, with a single credit balance.

  2. 02

    Add credits

Deposit QTUM or a supported stablecoin. Stablecoins credit at 1000 credits per USD; QTUM converts at the rate recorded when the deposit lands.

  3. 03

    Write the shot

Pick a model, write the prompt — subject, camera move, lighting, pace — and optionally attach a first frame. Then choose resolution, aspect ratio and length.

  4. 04

    Render and download

The task runs asynchronously; the page tracks it and the finished clip lands in your library as MP4, with its prompt and settings attached for the next take.

What a clip costs

Usage is prepaid in credits. 1000 credits equal 1 USD of deposit, so a credits figure divided by 1000 is the dollar figure.

Each model publishes a rate per five seconds at each resolution it offers. A clip costs that rate scaled to the length you chose — ten seconds costs twice the five-second rate — and the credits are reserved the moment the task is created. If the render fails they are returned in full, automatically, so you are only ever charged for video you actually get.

The least expensive model in the catalog right now renders five seconds for 80 credits (about $0.08). Rates differ widely between models and climb with resolution.

Questions

What is Qtum Video?

Qtum Video is a browser tool for generating AI video on qtum.ai. It puts several video models behind one prompt box: you describe a shot, or supply a starting image, choose a resolution, aspect ratio and length, and the clip is rendered and kept in your library. It is prepaid in Qtum credits with no subscription.

Which video models can I use?

The catalog follows what is available upstream, so it changes. The live list — every model, the resolutions and clip lengths it supports, whether it accepts a starting image, and its current credit rate — is published on the Models and pricing page.

How much does a video cost?

Each model publishes a credit rate per five seconds at each resolution, where 1000 credits equal 1 USD of deposit. A clip costs that rate scaled to the length you chose, so a 10-second clip costs twice the five-second rate. Higher resolutions cost more, and the rates differ widely between models.

What happens if a render fails?

Nothing is charged. Credits are reserved when the task is created and returned to your balance in full if the render fails, automatically — the failed clip shows the refunded amount. You are only charged for video you actually get.

Can I turn an image into a video?

Yes, on the models that support it. Upload a still as the first frame and the model animates from it, with or without a prompt depending on the model. Each model enforces its own limits on file size, minimum edge length and aspect ratio, and the catalog lists which models accept a starting frame.

Do I need a subscription, or is there a monthly limit?

Neither. Qtum Video is prepaid: you deposit credits and spend them per clip. There is no subscription, no seat and no monthly cap — the only limit on how much you can render is your credit balance.

How long can a clip be, and what resolutions are available?

It depends on the model. Clip lengths run from a few seconds to half a minute and resolutions from 480p to 1080p, model by model, and the form offers only the combinations the model you picked supports. The Models and pricing page lists the exact lengths and resolutions for each one.

Is there an API for video generation?

Yes, separately. The Qtum AI Router serves video models over an asynchronous HTTP API with the same single API key it uses for text, image and audio models. Qtum Video is the browser tool; the Router is the programmable one.

Prefer to call it from code?

Qtum Video is the browser tool. The Router is the programmable one.
